Please read through these rules and check they are in-line with how you are playing. Please get in touch if you are unsure.<\/p>\n<p id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1426665687276_2408\"><span id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1426665687276_2406\" style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; line-height: 1.714285714;\">The list of the rules discussed is the following:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1426665687276_2403\">A) Rule 8.1.5.1:<br \/>\n<span id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1426665687276_2257\" style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1426665687276_2256\" style=\"font-size: small;\"><\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1426665687276_2257\" style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1426665687276_2256\" style=\"font-size: small;\">Every touch of the ball by the goalkeeper (including a save) or by the spare-goalkeeper\u00a0adds up to the maximum three flicks\u00a0the goalkeeper is allowed to take.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\">Examples:<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1426665687276_2422\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><i><span style=\"font-size: small;\">1.<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/i><i><span style=\"font-size: small;\">If the goalkeeper has already touched the ball one time, the attacker may flick his spare-goalkeeper at the ball only two more times.<\/span><\/i><\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1426665687276_2428\"><span id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1426665687276_2427\" style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><i><span style=\"font-size: small;\">2.<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/i><i id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1426665687276_2426\"><span id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1426665687276_2424\" style=\"font-size: small;\">If the goalkeeper has already touched the ball three times in a row, the attacker may not use his spare-goalkeeper, unless he touches the ball with another playing figure.<\/span><\/i><\/span><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1426665687276_2434\"><span id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1426665687276_2433\" style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><i><span style=\"font-size: small;\">3.<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/i><i id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1426665687276_2432\"><span id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1426665687276_2430\" style=\"font-size: small;\">If the goalkeeper touches the ball more than once when making a save, a single touch shall be counted.<\/span><\/i><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\">Explanation: The rule says that\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">every touch of the ball<\/span>\u00a0by the goalkeeper on rod always counts as an attacking flick.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><!--more-->B) Rule 13.2.1<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\">If, by an attacking move, the played playing figure moves from non-offside position into offside position, there shall be no offside\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">for this playing figure<\/span>\u00a0as long as the ball is moving: passive offside. However, this playing figure may not play the ball again until the ball has stopped.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<h3>Rule 13.2.2<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; line-height: 1.714285714; font-size: 1rem;\">An attacking playing figure is considered to be in non-offside position\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">at the moment it takes a corner-flick<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; line-height: 1.714285714; font-size: 1rem;\">. Therefore, the passive offside rule always applies to a playing figure which takes a corner-flick.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\">Explanation: The rule says that the passive offside applies\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">only to the attacking playing figure which plays the ball<\/span>. Any other attacking playing figure which is in offside position when the ball is last played,\u00a0<b>is<\/b>\u00a0declared offside even if the ball is still moving. In case of a corner-flick, the attacking playing figure which takes the corner-flick is never declared offside as long as the ball is still moving. However,\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">no other attacking playing figure in offside position<\/span><b>\u00a0<\/b>is protected by the passive offside rule.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>C) Rule 5.3.3<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">After having touched the ball, the attacking playing figure may touch any\u00a0other attacking\u00a0playing figure,\u00a0a goalkeeper or the defender&#8217;s body before coming to rest.\u00a0However,\u00a0the\u00a0attacker&#8217;s flick\u00a0may not cause (either directly or indirectly) the displacement of\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">two or more defending playing figures standing completely inside the defender&#8217;s half<\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\">Explanation: The rule says that \u201csmashing\u201d is given only if\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">at least<\/span>\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">two defending playing figures<\/span>\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">inside the defender\u2019s half<\/span>\u00a0are touched by the attacking playing figure which played the ball (directly), or by any other deflected playing figure (indirectly). Example: An attacking playing figure plays the ball and after that it hits one defending figure in the attacker\u2019s half and then another defending figure in the defender\u2019s half. This is\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">not<\/span>\u00a0smashing.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\">However, defending playing figures that are displaced by the ball (directly) or by any other playing figure moved by the ball (indirectly), are\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">not<\/span>\u00a0considered to be \u201csmashed\u201d. Example: An attacking playing figure plays the ball and then the ball moves another attacking figure which in turn hits two defending figures in the defender\u2019s half.
