{"id":1763,"date":"2015-09-16T21:42:22","date_gmt":"2015-09-16T11:42:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/subbuteoaustralia.com\/?p=1763"},"modified":"2015-09-16T21:43:57","modified_gmt":"2015-09-16T11:43:57","slug":"australian-table-football-association-look-to-the-future","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/subbuteoaustralia.com\/?p=1763","title":{"rendered":"Australian Table Football Association look to the future"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Australian Table Football Association has recently announced changes to the organisation of its board, and an exciting initiative to help spread the game in Australia.<\/p>\n<p>The new board is:<\/p>\n<p>President: \t        Steve Dettre (Northern Falcons TFC)<br \/>\nVice President:          Benji Batten (Melbourne TFC)<br \/>\nSecretary General: \tAdrian Elmer (Subbuteo Parramatta)<br \/>\nTreasurer: \t        Luke Radziminski (Melbourne TFC)<br \/>\nSports Director:         Peter Thomas (Melbourne TFC)<br \/>\nDevelopment Officers: \tEliot Kennedy (Northern Falcons) &#038; Benji Batten<br \/>\nMarketing: \t        Chris Tanner (co-opted)<\/p>\n<p>Club representatives<br \/>\nBrisbane: \t          Rik Bland<br \/>\nAdelaide: \t          Reuben Haughey<br \/>\nDeportivo De La Katoomba:   Paul Magee<br \/>\nPerth: \t                  Chris Thorn<\/p>\n<p>As part of the restructure, Chris Tanner, Managing Director of Zenith Sports and Event Management, has been co-opted onto the board to assist with Marketing and Communications, specifically focussed on the 2016 Grand Prix in Sydney, but also to help with membership drives around the country.<\/p>\n<p>We are confident that this bold initiative will provide the impetus needed for the ATFA to improve its profile, while offering opportunities for grassroots players and those interested in competition.<\/p>\n<p>Zenith SEM have identified opportunities for our organisation and for table football in general and are keen to make an impact on our sport.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Australian Table Football Association has recently announced changes to the organisation of its board, and an exciting initiative to help spread the game in Australia.
