Dear Table Football friends,
\nAttached please find the official notification of the Australian Grand Prix 2016.
\nThis event is a brave step forward by us, to take the game out of the scout halls, the lounge rooms, to try and find more players, and encourage the development of the game, and attract new players.
\nIt\u2019s something we have all talked about.<\/p>\n

As most of you will know by now, the venue will be 99onYork, which is a first class venue, in a great location, the heart of Sydney near the main public transport.
\nIt will have full amenities, plus it has a caf\u00e9, restaurant, bar, first class lighting, air conditioning, is carpeted, etc. and we can use all their multi-media facilities for scoreboards etc.
\nWe will also have access to a room in the club to set up a couple of boards for any international\/interstate players who want to practice from Wednesday onwards.
\nWe are in negotiations for a professional sports photographer to be on hand to take photos of ALL players in action for free on the Saturday.
\nAnd for the more mature players, a massage table with trained massage therapist, will be in action on Sunday morning for those finding it tough to back up for a second day\u2019s action.<\/p>\n

As part of the commercial deal with the venue, we are going to have a dinner on the Friday night, which will be the welcome function for all international and interstate guests as well as the official draw ceremony.
\nWe are going to include the cost of the dinner in the registration with the expectation that everyone will attend.
\nAnd it will be a function not to miss, with some greats of Australian football in attendance, including former Socceroo Coach Rale Rasic, as well as some Socceroos and Matildas.
\nOn the Sunday there will be a final presentation in the 1st floor area with finger food.
\nOn the Saturday there will be the GP and a WASPA event, so everyone will get plenty of matches.
\nAll entrants into the AGP will receive a special player’s pack.<\/p>\n

This event has already attracted the attention of Fox Sports, SBS, FourFourTwo magazine and the Daily Telegraph. Radio Station 2RRR has also said they\u2019d like to broadcast their one hour Planet Football show from the venue.
\nThe Johnny Warren Foundation is also committed to becoming a partner, with provision of referee bibs\/shirts and items for sale which we can keep.<\/p>\n

While the FISTF handbook talks about maximum registration fees, there is leeway in the document to allow for higher amounts.<\/p>\n

Our current proposal for registration for the event is this (in AUD)
\nOpen FISTF: $81.50
\nYouth FISTF: $60
\nYouth WASPA: $20<\/p>\n

For the team event on the Sunday, we are proposing to charge just the FISTF levy amount: $5 per team, payable on the day.
\nThere is no levy payable by those U19 in the GP.
\nAdditional guests can attend the dinner for $40.
\nNotification for payment details will be listed on our website in the next day.<\/p>\n

It will be an event to remember and will take us to the next level.
\nSome of the amounts are higher than we have paid before as entry fees, but let\u2019s be honest: we\u2019ve all spent quite a bit of money on teams, pitches, boards, trestles, goals, polish, balls, and shirts.
\nNow we have a chance to put something towards the development of the game.<\/p>\n
