{"id":3155,"date":"2016-11-07T13:04:13","date_gmt":"2016-11-07T02:04:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/subbuteoaustralia.com\/?p=3155"},"modified":"2016-11-12T23:06:10","modified_gmt":"2016-11-12T12:06:10","slug":"asian-rankings","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/subbuteoaustralia.com\/?p=3155","title":{"rendered":"Asian Rankings (Updated)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A subset of the FISTF world rankings shows that Singapore is still the dominant force in the Asian region.<br \/>\nThe Singapore lads hold nine of the top 20 places, followed by Australia and Japan with five apiece, and Hong Kong with one.<br \/>\nRudy Hesty maintains his top place in Asia, followed by Peter Thomas, Den Mulia and Carl Young.<br \/>\nOn the club front, Jurong Central have top spot in Asia, followed by Melbourne TFC, Northern Falcons TFC and Singapore Lions SC.<br \/>\nIn the Veterans category, Rob Green (Northern Falcons) retains top spot in Asia, while Adam Deverell (Western Flickers) has joined him in the rankings, as well as two England-based players, Gerald Brightwell and John Devaney.<br \/>\nIn the U19s, Singapore&#8217;s Giovanni Choong (Jurong) holds the top spot ahead of countryman Isaac Lim (Singapore Lions).<br \/>\nIn the U15s, Northern Falcons&#8217; Jonty Brener (Northern Falcons) is still ranked top, with Benjamin Ng (Western Flickers) in second place, and Gabriel Lombardi (Subbuteo Parramatta) in third.<br \/>\nAnd in the U12, Benjamin still holds the lead.<\/p>\n<p>Plenty to battle for at the Asian Cup in Japan next June.<\/p>\n<p>Current FISTF Asian rankings:<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/subbuteoaustralia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/FISTF-Rankings-October-Asia.htm\" target=\"_blank\">fistf-rankings-october-asia<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Current FISTF Asian rankings for Veterans, U19,U15 and U12:<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/subbuteoaustralia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/Asian-vets-etc.htm\">asian-vets-etc<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A subset of the FISTF world rankings shows that Singapore is still the dominant force in the Asian region.
