In October, Australia will be proudly hosting the 2025 Asian Cup of Subbuteo Table Football. One of the features of this tournament will be the National Teams Event held on Sunday, October 19, which will feature Australia, Singapore, Japan and , for the first time, New Zealand. The ATFA Committee is now calling for players who wish to be considered for selection in the national team.
Peter Thomas has been appointed as the Team Captain. Team selection will be based on a mixture of player availability, rankings and current form. There is also the possibility of an ‘Australia B’ team, pending numbers from Singapore, Japan and New Zealand and, hopefully, a Women’s International match against Japan. These will be confirmed closer to the tournament.
