And on the other side of the world, a small Melbourne TFC hosted a WASPA event on the evening of September 16th.
With some of the Usual Suspects away on national duties, a small field of five quickly became four as George Theocharis had to leave early upon receipt of some terrible news. Our thoughts are with you and your family during what must be a difficult period.
The event carried on and at its conclusion, Anthony Madiona was a deserved winner ahead of a fast finishing Nathan Kaz.
Mads put in some super displays and was very consistent across the course of the night. Special mention to Adam Deverell who is showing rapid improvement after a long absence from the local Subbuteo scene.
Thanks again to all the competitors who competed on the evening and keenly looking forward to the October event.
