1 – Welcome and introductions
The meeting was opened at 2.30 pm and the President welcomed members to the meeting. Participation at the meeting was facilitated using video conference facilities.

2 – President’s report
The President reported there was continued growth of table football across the country, with more people playing and participating in events. There are currently 15 affiliated clubs across six states with the most active clubs being Perth SC, Brisbane, Western Flickers, Sydney TFC, Melbourne TFC, Parramatta and Northern Falcons. There are currently 54 Australian players in the FISTF rankings and 127 players in the WASPA world rankings.
A FISTF International Grant Prix was held in Sydney, an International Open in Melbourne, and Satellite event also in Melbourne. Australia had a team at the Asian Cup in Japan, and had players participate in the FISTF World Cup. WASPA events have been held every month of the year.
A significant amount of ATFA’s effort has been focused on formally establishing the association through its incorporation in New South Wales, and establishing memberships of the association. There are now 39 adult members, and nine junior members.
Finances have come into the association through membership fees ($10 per person) and in the future the association will be less reliant on donations.
Earlier this year the ATFA Board discussed its role and decided the focus would be on ATFA being primarily fulfilling its administrative functions and that clubs and players would concentrate on organising events. This allows membership fees to be set a low level and encourages members to sign up. It also allows individual clubs to develop their own model to meet their own needs. In future, any FISTF tournaments will be organised by individual clubs (awarded to those clubs through an application process), and they will take responsibility for the organisation and financial aspects related to those events. ATFA will not itself be organising events.

Item 3 – Financial Report
The Financial Report was provided by the Treasurer and has been provided to all members.
The anticipated revenue for ATFA is expected to cover its administrative costs which include incorporation fees, banking fees, FISTF registration fees, and website hosting fees. Additional revenue might be gained through increased membership of ATFA. At this stage, it is not anticipated that increased revenue is needed.
Steve Dettre noted that FISTF has committed a total of 200-to-400 euros for assistance towards the costs of hosting the Asian Cup in 2018. Should this materialise then it will be put towards costs such as the venue fee.

Item 4 – Outcome of board election
The returning officer (Steve Dettre) provided the outcome of election for positions on the ATFA board. The outcomes were as follows:

o Raffaele LOMBARDI (Sydney TFC)                    20 votes
o Adrian CONNOLLY (Western Flickers TFC)     19 votes

o Giuseppe TARDIOTA (Brisbane Subbuteo Club)    29 votes
o Christos GARAGOUNIS (Northern Phoenix TFC)    14 votes
o Beth EVELEIGH (Melbourne TFC)                              13 votes
o Adrian CONNOLLY (Western Flickers TFC)              11 votes
o Steve WRIGHT (Western Flickers TFC)                        6 votes
o Raffaele LOMBARDI (Sydney TFC)                               2 votes
Note: Two (2) votes were made in error to Adrian CONNOLLY (Western Flickers TFC), in contravention of the requirement as listed in the voting procedure: “You can only vote for Adrian Connolly or Raffaele Lombardi as a Board Advisor if you have NOT voted for them as Vice-President.” These two votes were discounted already, providing the above figure as listed. Similarly, one (1) vote was made for Raffaele LOMBARDI (Sydney TFC) in contravention of the requirement. The above figure represents the discounted voting. These voting mistakes did not affect the outcome of the election for these two positions.

Item 5 -Priorities for 2017-18
The President outlined the general priorities for 2017-18 and provided members with the opportunity for feedback and discussion. The priorities were ensuring continued growth of the game through ongoing promotion, encouraging clubs to host WASPA events, and assisting clubs to hold successful FISTF events. There are forthcoming FISTF events coming up including an International Open in Perth (July), Sydney (September) and a Continental Championship in January. It is hoped that there will be a positive announcement in the coming weeks with regards to the venue for this event.
To encourage greater participation the development of mini circuits will be encouraged in each state/city to try and maximise attendance.
ATFA will investigate ordering some official shirts in the coming weeks. These shirts would be for events such as the World Cup and Asian Cup.
It is proposed that ATFA should develop a code of conduct that all players must agree to play in ATFA events. It is hope to have this in place by September.

Item 6 – Any other business / member feedback
Steve Dettre asked whether any Australian players were planning on participating in the World Cup. The President stated that he expected Robert Green to be playing. Fabrizio Coco stated that he expected Raffaele Lombardi and Daniele Lombardi to be interested.
It was noted that there will be items on the FISTF Congress agenda for voting. These items should be sent to ATFA in advance and will be discussed by the ATFA Board.

Meeting closed.
